Denver Mattress Limited Warranty
At Denver Mattress, we stand behind the quality of our mattresses and foundations. Our limited warranty helps protect you from qualifying manufacturing and structural defects, giving you confidence in your sleep set long after delivery.
What Does the Denver Mattress Warranty Cover?
Your Denver Mattress mattress and/or foundation has a limited, non-prorated 10-year warranty. If your sleep set is found to have a qualifying defect caused by faulty workmanship or structural materials, it may be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer’s discretion. This warranty begins on the day you take delivery of your mattress and/or foundation. It applies only to the original purchaser and is valid for residential use. Commercial and contract use are not covered.
Covered Defects May Include:
- Coils, wires, or modules that are loose, broken, protruding, or ripping through fabric
- Body impressions measuring 1.5 inches or greater
- Splitting of the wood frame in a foundation
If identical materials are unavailable at the time of warranty service, Denver Mattress may substitute materials of equal or greater quality.
What Is Not Covered?
The limited warranty does not cover damage, normal wear, or changes that occur through ordinary use. Examples of exclusions include:
- Stains, soiling, burns, bodily fluids, or other abuse
- Any customer-caused breach of the mattress fire barrier
- Comfort preferences or a change in your preferred firmness level
- Normal conforming of cushion layers
- Body impressions under 1.5 inches
- Normal wear and tear of fabric
- Damage caused by an improper bed frame or lack of required center support
- Damage caused by an existing or inappropriate foundation
- Damage caused by moving or bending the sleep set
- Transportation or delivery costs associated with warranty service
For health and hygiene reasons, mattresses with stains, bodily fluids, or soil marks cannot be accepted for return or warranty service.

Normal Mattress Changes vs. Defects
Mattresses are designed to conform to your body over time. Minor impressions and softening in comfort layers are normal and are not considered manufacturing defects.
On king-size mattresses, you may also notice a slight ridge in the center of the bed over time. Because people typically sleep on either side of the mattress rather than directly in the middle, this is a normal pattern of use.
If you are unsure whether an issue is a normal change or a potential defect, contact your local Denver Mattress store for guidance.
How to Start a Warranty Claim
If you believe your mattress or foundation has a covered defect:
- Contact the Denver Mattress retail store where you purchased your sleep set.
- Have your proof of purchase available, including your sales receipt.
- Your local store will review your concern and explain the next steps.
- If your product needs to be returned for evaluation or service, the purchaser is responsible for transportation costs to and from the nearest Denver Mattress store.
Your local store may need to order a replacement model and can provide protective bags for transporting your mattress.
Warranty vs. 365 Night Guarantee
A warranty claim is different from a comfort claim. If your mattress has a defect in materials or workmanship, then it may be covered by our limited warranty. If the mattress simply does not feel as comfortable as you expected, then you may be covered by our 365 Night Better Sleep Guarantee.
Warranty Claim
A warranty claim addresses a manufacturing or structural defect, such as a broken coil, a protruding wire, or a qualifying body impression.

Comfort Claim
Unlike defect claims, a comfort claim is for customers who have given their mattress time to adjust but find that its comfort, feel, or support is not the right fit for their needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a mattress warranty the same as a comfort guarantee?
- No. A mattress warranty applies to qualifying defects in materials or workmanship. A comfort guarantee applies when the mattress is not the comfort level or feel you expected.
Does the warranty cover body impressions?
- It may. Body impressions of 1.5 inches or greater may qualify for coverage. Minor impressions caused by normal conforming are not considered defects.
Do I need my receipt for a warranty claim?
- Yes. Proof of purchase is required, so keep your sales receipt and warranty information in a safe place.
Does the warranty cover stains or spills?
- No. Stains, soiling, burns, bodily fluids, and other damage or abuse are not covered. These conditions can void warranty coverage.
Who pays for transportation during warranty service?
- The purchaser is responsible for transportation costs to and from the nearest Denver Mattress store.
