Purple mattresses need a flat, sturdy surface to rest on. This can be a solid surface base, a platform with slats 3.5" apart or less, or an adjustable bed frame tested to support at least 750 lbs. Purple mattresses are not compatible with traditional box springs or bed frames with slats more that 3.5" apart.
