I recently purchased a mattress from Denver Mattress in Topeka KS. When we went into the store the manager Josh approached us and asked if we had anything in mind we wanted to look at. Unfortunately, we do not know a lot about mattress and what kind to get for myself, and my fiancé and Josh took the time to go over serval different mattresses with us and helped us narrow it down to the perfect one. After all of his hard work on helping us find the right fit for us we could not cashout in the store we were using PayPal credit and could only cashout online. Which meant he would not get any recognition for the sale which we felt was very unfair and we did not like that but unfortunately it was the only way we could purchase the mattress. So we feel really bad that this sale was not going to be under Josh's name so myself and my fiancé thought we would leave a review and show our appreciation to him this way. Thank you, Josh, for be kind and courteous to us when we came into your store. We would also like to point out how knowledgeable you are with all the products in your store. Thank you for taking your time and showing us as customers we mattered, and you cared about us receiving the correct mattress for our needs. Thank you for all the help and I hope Denver Mattress can change something so that the hard-working employees get the recognition they deserve from a sale.

Tatum at Denver Mattress absolutely deserves recognition — and frankly, a raise. From the moment we walked in, she was warm, engaging, and genuinely interested in helping us find exactly what we needed without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. Her patience and professionalism stood out immediately, but what really set her apart was her joyful energy and constant smile.Tatum took the time to explain every option clearly, answered all of our questions thoroughly, and made what can often feel like a chore into an easy, even enjoyable experience. She treated us like people, not customers — and that’s rare these days.It’s clear she genuinely cares about her work and her customers, and that pride shines through in every interaction. Denver Mattress is lucky to have someone like Tatum representing them. She’s the kind of employee that keeps customers coming back — and the kind that absolutely deserves to be rewarded for her excellence. I am kindof bummed because we ordered our mattress online but did not realize this place gave their employees a comission. IMO Tatum is well deserving of our commission. If it weren't for her, we would have bought our bed on Purple.com
